Description · Established in Bali, Indonesia in 2007 to conduct negotiations on a strengthened international deal on climate change, set to be concluded in Copenhagen in 2009 · Helps implement the Bali Road Map, which consists of a number of forward-looking decisions that represent the various tracks that are essential to strengthening international action on climate change · Will present the outcome of its work to the Conference of the Parties for adoption at its fifteenth session in Copenhagen this year Stakeholders · Countries under the AWG-LCA · All countries looking to make decisions on international climate change action · Because AWG-LCA is such a broad group, these countries have various ecological, political, and economic interests.
